
Land Development – Due Diligence Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for confirming that suggested sites are suitable for construction, compliant, and economically viable.
• Spearhead diligence efforts across civil, geotechnical, environmental, and entitlement aspects, pinpointing risks and formulating mitigation strategies.
• Direct all technical due diligence: geotechnical assessments, soil evaluations, title/ALTA surveys, mineral rights, and access evaluations.
• Manage the permitting and entitlement process and oversee governance schedules with relevant agencies.
• Assess generator air permits, wetlands, floodplain, and stormwater limitations.
• Supervise consultants conducting feasibility studies and environmental evaluations.
• Provide go/no-go recommendations along with risk management and mitigation options.
• Develop diligence templates and playbooks to facilitate future site assessments.
• Over 8 years of experience in land development, civil/environmental engineering, or data center due diligence.
• Familiarity with permitting, entitlements, and engagement with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
• Excellent project management and technical review capabilities.
• Experience in managing consultants and interpreting intricate studies.
• Consistently communicate updates on site readiness, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the success of the site selection program and the contributions of external vendors and partners.
