πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the acquisition of surface land for both new and ongoing projects, which includes negotiations, amendments, rent assessments, and damage settlements.

β€’ Spearhead consultation initiatives to effectively engage landowners and stakeholders.

β€’ Serve as the main point of contact for landowners, ensuring clear communication and fostering positive, long-lasting relationships.

β€’ Prepare, review, and manage all necessary land documentation, including lease and right-of-way agreements, survey plans, non-objections, notices, and temporary workspace arrangements.

β€’ Secure survey permissions and access consents.

β€’ Collaborate closely with internal teams to facilitate project planning and execution.

β€’ Conduct site visits, address landowner concerns, and provide support to operations as needed.

β€’ Perform ground truthing and site/route scouting activities.

β€’ Maintain meticulous and organized file management and reporting throughout the land acquisition process.

β€’ Stay updated on relevant laws, industry standards, and regulatory changes that impact surface land operations.

β€’ Prepare and keep detailed consultation logs documenting all interactions with landowners and stakeholders.

β€’ Offer innovative solutions during field negotiations to achieve outcomes that benefit all parties involved.

β€’ Represent clients and BRITT Radius with professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion while engaging with landowners, tenants, and community stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 8 years of experience in Surface Land, preferably within a consulting services or brokerage environment.

β€’ Must hold a valid Alberta Land Agent license.

β€’ Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks, effectively balancing priorities and deadlines.

β€’ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent organizational skills.

β€’ Must be proactive and self-driven.

β€’ A diverse background in the Oil & Gas, renewable energy, municipal, and telecommunications sectors is preferred.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of Surface Land acquisition processes, documentation, and regulations is essential.
