This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Comprehend and adhere to Quality System documents pertinent to assigned responsibilities
• Comply with established quality standards
• Follow all company policies and procedures relevant to your tasks
• Abide by all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Assist in the routine assaying of samples
• Conduct testing based on a daily work schedule
• Organize batches of samples for weighing and perform the weighing of samples
• Determine the necessity for rechecks based on the assayed samples
• Prepare solutions required for the daily testing of specified samples
• Sustain an orderly and precise record-keeping system
• Document test data and results for samples in the logbook
• Keep the laboratory environment safe and tidy
• Identify any method, matrix, or analytical challenges and report them
• Maintain a constant state of readiness and willingness to address inquiries
• Stay updated on technical, industry, and business developments
• Suggest improvements for more accurate or efficient laboratory equipment
• Foster collaborative working relationships with all company personnel
• Enhance the company's reputation through ethical business practices
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical abilities
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proactive, independent problem solver with a results-oriented mindset
• Basic knowledge of ISO 17025 standards
• High School diploma with 0-3 years of relevant experience
