L2 Support, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver Level 2 Support for Java engineering systems

• Break down external payment systems into Spring Boot 3 microservices hosted on AWS ECS

• Implement caching and replication mechanisms utilizing ElastiCache Redis and AWS RDS

• Design migration strategies and execute phased rollouts

• Develop reusable service templates alongside standardized CI/CD pipelines

• Enhance system resilience and observability through Spring Cloud, Resilience4j, and AWS ElastiCache

• Establish and oversee Build & Release engineering automation

• Create Node.js automation tools that integrate with the Jira API

• Work collaboratively with development teams, architects, product managers, as well as Cloud and SecOps teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English

• Background in Java software engineering and Level 2 support

• Familiarity with Spring Boot 3 and microservices architecture

• Experience with AWS ECS, AWS RDS, AWS ElastiCache Redis, and Spring Cloud

• Knowledge of Resilience4j

• Expertise in engineering CI/CD pipelines and crafting reusable service templates

• Proficient in Groovy, AWS CloudFormation, Python, Jenkins Pipeline Libraries, Node.js, and Jira API

• Proven experience working alongside development teams, architects, product managers, and Cloud and SecOps teams
