L2 DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the reliability and operability of one to two production services, including those critical to financial transactions.

• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines that facilitate frequent and secure deployments.

• Establish and enhance observability through metrics, logs, and alerts.

• Engage in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts as necessary.

• Identify and mitigate operational risks by enhancing resilience and failure management.

• Automate repetitive operational tasks such as deployments, rollbacks, and recovery procedures.

• Collaborate with Backend, Security, and Infrastructure teams to translate system requirements into robust infrastructure solutions.

• Enhance reliability metrics including availability, mean time to recovery (MTTR), alert quality, and incident occurrence.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of experience in managing production systems.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Linux, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience operating containerized workloads in a production environment.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Expertise in designing monitoring and alerting systems.

• Demonstrated experience in managing production incidents.

• Ability to articulate operational decisions clearly.
