Kurdish Kurmanji VRI/OPI Interpretation Vacancy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Professionally handle incoming calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Maintain readiness to take notes during calls at all times.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary related to the industry, particularly healthcare and medical domains - training will be provided.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or altering content.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpreting sessions.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretations.

• Adhere to established standards of practice.

• Engage in internal professional training opportunities.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report regularly to your team leader.

• Follow the dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the source language (English) and native fluency in the target language "Kurdish Kurmanji."

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a recognized interpretation company is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred, but not required.

• Understanding of legal terminology is a plus.

• International certifications in the healthcare industry are beneficial (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• Possession of a high school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Strong skills in communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention.
