Kubernetes Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor for enterprise clients, assisting them in the design, validation, and implementation of vKS solutions on VCF.

• Work closely with field account teams to ensure solution architecture aligns with customer priorities and facilitates successful engagement results.

• Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts to validate vKS architectures and showcase business value.

• Collaborate with sales to co-create customer proposals that address modernization objectives, workload placement, and operational transformation.

• Offer prescriptive guidance on Kubernetes adoption, DevOps/CI-CD integration, and enterprise needs such as scalability, security, and disaster recovery.

• Develop and share reference architectures, deployment patterns, and technical assets to expedite customer adoption of VKS.

• Present clear, engaging technical presentations to a variety of audiences, from architects to executive decision-makers.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and changing enterprise requirements to effectively position VKS.

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to provide field insights that shape the roadmap direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in technology-related positions.

• Background in application engineering or technical sales for enterprise IT, cloud, or application platforms.

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, containers, and VMware Cloud Foundation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

• Certifications in cloud-native or public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.) are highly preferred.
