Kotlin Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin for our product platform.

• Create and implement interfaces between internal components and public clients (REST/gRPC/Kafka).

• Work collaboratively with the team to implement new features from design discussions to rollout.

• Build the backend for our landing page, incorporating interactive gamification features.

• Engage with machines in our data center and utilize cloud services on AWS.

• Assist in enhancing reliability and performance (monitoring, caching, availability) with guidance from the team.

• Join a collaborative, cross-functional product team, working closely with other Kotlin developers and AI specialists.

• Enhance your skills through pairing, code reviews, and mentoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience with Kotlin.

• Strong understanding of backend fundamentals and a desire to learn about cloud and distributed systems.

• Solid grasp of backend principles and eagerness to learn modern tools for content-driven applications.

• Familiar with API design (REST/GraphQL/gRPC).

• Some experience in deploying code to the cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) or a strong willingness to learn.

• Knowledge of Docker and basic infrastructure is a plus.

• Experience with Terraform or Kubernetes is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Interest in esports is a plus!
