Kotlin Coding Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverage real-world engineering scenarios like bug reports and feature requests found in Git repositories to develop clean, efficient, idiomatic Kotlin solutions.

• Produce high-quality code patches that align with contemporary Android development standards.

• Guarantee technical accuracy, maintainability, and clarity in all deliverables.

• Assess AI-generated code and rectify any errors identified.

• Develop optimized Kotlin solutions tailored to project needs.

• Document best practices that illustrate modern Android design patterns and coding conventions.

• Articulate and justify technical decisions made during the development process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Kotlin with substantial hands-on experience in modern Android and Kotlin development.

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines.

• Experience utilizing Jetpack libraries such as Room, WorkManager, Datastore, ViewModel, and Hilt.

• Understanding of build.gradle configurations and dependency management.

• Knowledge of networking libraries including OkHttp, Retrofit, and Coil.

• Strong foundation in Android software development.

• Proven track record of building and maintaining production-level Kotlin applications.

• Ability to communicate clearly and structure information effectively, particularly regarding technical decisions.

• Familiarity with Android multimedia tools such as CameraX, ExoPlayer, and Media3 is advantageous.
