Kotlin Coding Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Analyze real-world engineering situations, including bug reports or feature requests in Git repositories, to develop clean, efficient, and idiomatic Kotlin solutions.

• Produce high-quality code patches that adhere to contemporary Android development standards.

• Guarantee technical accuracy, maintainability, and clarity in all coding efforts.

• Assess AI-generated code and rectify any errors found.

• Apply optimized Kotlin solutions for enhanced performance.

• Document best practices that illustrate modern Android design patterns and coding conventions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Kotlin programming language.

• Hands-on experience in modern Android and Kotlin development.

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and Jetpack libraries such as Room, WorkManager, Datastore, ViewModel, and Hilt.

• Understanding of build.gradle configuration and dependency management.

• Knowledge of networking libraries including OkHttp, Retrofit, and Coil.

• Strong foundation in Android software development.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production-level Kotlin applications.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical decisions clearly and effectively.

• Experience with Android multimedia tools like CameraX, ExoPlayer, and Media3 is an advantage.
