Kotlin Coding Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Assess AI-generated code and rectify any mistakes

• Develop optimized, clean, efficient, and idiomatic Kotlin solutions for practical engineering challenges

• Generate high-quality code patches in response to bug reports and feature requests within Git repositories

• Utilize contemporary Android development techniques and design patterns

• Guarantee technical accuracy, maintainability, and clarity

• Document best practices, coding standards, and technical choices

• Provide support for training data aimed at next-generation AI developer assistants

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Kotlin

• Practical experience with modern Android and Kotlin development

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and Jetpack libraries including Room, WorkManager, Datastore, ViewModel, and Hilt

• Knowledge of build.gradle configuration and dependency management

• Understanding of networking libraries such as OkHttp, Retrofit, and Coil

• Strong foundation in Android software development

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production-level Kotlin applications

• Ability to communicate clearly and structure technical decisions effectively

• Experience with Android multimedia tools like CameraX, ExoPlayer, or Media3 is a plus
