This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Meet or surpass designated contract revenue goals for the U.S. region, ensuring precise forecasting and effective pipeline management.
• Design and implement comprehensive, multi-year service contract strategies that align with the business needs and growth ambitions of strategic clients.
• Lead intricate negotiations, which include consolidated and enterprise-level service agreements, pricing frameworks, and contractual stipulations.
• Build and sustain robust executive-level relationships within client organizations through regular strategic assessments and face-to-face interactions.
• Act as the main point of responsibility for service sales strategy across key accounts, coordinating internal teams to provide unified customer solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial Sales, Field Service, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Legal to ensure cohesive account execution.
• Persuade internal stakeholders to prioritize customer demands, eliminate obstacles, and present unique value propositions.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer environments, competitive factors, and market trends; share insights to guide strategy and decision-making.
• Implement a systematic approach to account planning, strategic prioritization, and execution to enhance contract penetration, retention, and growth.
• Serve as an exemplary leader within the Service Sales organization, offering mentorship, guidance, and sharing best practices to elevate overall commercial effectiveness.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• A minimum of three to five years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record in managing complex accounts and negotiations.
• Experience in selling service contracts, recurring revenue solutions, or long-term agreements; experience in the life sciences sector is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and structure intricate commercial agreements involving multiple stakeholders and decision-making levels.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, analytical capabilities, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a presence suitable for executive-level interactions.
• Proven ability to influence within a matrixed organization without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel frequently for in-person customer engagement and internal collaboration.
