• Drive customer revenue growth through strategic cross-selling and upselling of products and services within a designated region.
• Foster relationships with key clients by conducting quarterly business reviews and engaging in proactive, insightful outreach.
• Craft a Territory Action Plan for the assigned region, outlining sales objectives, priority areas, customer requirements, and projected trends to achieve revenue targets.
• Evaluate accounts to assess the sales potential of current customers, while gaining an understanding of their sales cycles, budgets, and funding sources.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve issues related to product adoption or usage, as well as timely introduction of new products.
• Generate, maintain, and deliver precise and timely sales forecasts and pipeline data through Salesforce.com.
• Establish relationships with customer personnel and connect with other government and client organizations to identify key decision-makers for future sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with various individuals and departments within the Government Services organization to support a cohesive approach to delivering customer solutions.
• Manage customer requests for contracts and renewals in coordination with the Contracts Team.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable mix of education and professional experience.
• Preferred knowledge of the toxicology industry.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Must be a self-starter, confident, and adept at prospecting within large account environments; experience with government accounts is a plus.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet ambitious sales revenue goals.
