
Key Account Manager, Oncology – Metro DC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Implement Cosette’s oncology commercial strategy within a designated geographic area.
• Meet sales targets for the territory and achieve brand performance objectives.
• Create and implement business plans and strategic account strategies for the territory.
• Oversee customer targeting, call planning, account prioritization, and performance evaluation.
• Examine territory data, market trends, prescribing behaviors, and competitive actions.
• Carry out compliant promotional activities and relay approved clinical, safety, and product details.
• Provide product presentations customized to the needs of stakeholders.
• Build strategic relationships with oncology healthcare providers, hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), outpatient and infusion centers, pharmacists, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Trade, Patient Services, Medical Affairs, and internal support teams on access, reimbursement, distribution, and patient support initiatives.
• Assist in product launches, relaunches, lifecycle initiatives, and the adoption of new products and indications.
• Gather and communicate insights from customers, clinical feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends.
• Complete CRM documentation, call reports, expense reports, training, and other administrative tasks.
• Adhere to company policies, FDA regulations, PhRMA Code, OIG guidelines, and relevant laws.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty healthcare, or similar sales roles with a record of achieving sales goals.
• Proficiency in managing complex healthcare accounts and fostering relationships across various stakeholder groups.
• Experience in selling specialty pharmaceutical products or handling account-based selling strategies.
• Solid understanding of healthcare delivery systems and pharmaceutical commercialization processes.
• Preferred experience in oncology, hematology, specialty pharmacy, or buy-and-bill environments.
• Preferred experience in selling to community oncology practices, academic medical institutions, hospitals, or IDNs.
• Preferred background in supporting product launches, relaunches, brand integrations, or specialty pharmaceutical commercialization.
• Familiarity with specialty distribution models, medical benefit reimbursement, pathways, protocols, and oncology practice workflows.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including occasional overnight trips.
• Must live within the designated territory or be prepared to relocate before the start date.
• Strong scientific aptitude and the ability to comprehend and convey complex clinical information.
• Proficient in account planning, territory management, and business analysis.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work independently while engaging collaboratively with cross-functional partners.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance regulations.
