• Oversee relationships with several of Convera’s major clients within the Financial Institution sector.
• Evaluate clients’ current requirements and identify opportunities while executing a structured quarterly plan.
• Discover chances to promote integrated solutions and ensure ongoing client growth and satisfaction.
• Verify the existing value proposition and outline essential next steps to either reinforce or broaden offerings.
• Cultivate and enhance client relationships through account assessments and on-site visits.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals through cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
• Track and attain quarterly retention objectives.
• Employ precise sales forecasting methods to reflect potential customer revenue and growth opportunities.
• Complete KPI reporting as mandated by the account.
• Identify at-risk clients and establish the necessary escalation points. Discuss and pinpoint service/product/operational enhancements with the client base. Relay customer feedback and share ideas and strategies to advance the business.
• Communicate leading/best practices and client trends/behaviors with the rest of the KAM team to ensure knowledge is disseminated and position Convera as a trusted partner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the client sector or vertical and participate in networking/industry events to enhance expertise.
• Proven success in an Account Management position, ideally in the financial services or fintech sector, with experience working with regulated financial institutions.
• Familiarity with the foreign exchange industry is advantageous.
• Experience in managing relationships and generating revenue from existing client accounts.
• Strong grasp of consultative sales principles, with proficiency in executive-level negotiations and building lasting client relationships.
• Financially knowledgeable with an understanding of business needs and concerns as well as the commercial implications of global news and events.
• Extensive experience in business-to-business and solution sales. Exceptional communication and presentation skills across various media, along with the ability to utilize technology (e.g., MS Office, web conferencing, search engines, reporting tools, and sales automation platforms like Salesforce).
• Demonstrated experience working within and selling to multinational global organizations.
