• Validate the existing value proposition and identify essential next steps to either strengthen or broaden the offering. Cultivate and enhance client relationships through account assessments and on-site engagements.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals for individual core and transition portfolios by implementing cross-selling and upselling strategies.
• Track and achieve quarterly client retention objectives.
• Employ precise sales forecasting methods to illustrate future customer revenue potential and growth opportunities.
• Complete key performance indicator (KPI) reporting as per account requirements.
• Recognize clients at risk due to competitor actions or service challenges and establish appropriate escalation pathways. Engage in discussions to identify service, product, and operational enhancements with the client base. Relay customer feedback and communicate innovative ideas and strategies to advance the business.
• Share leading practices and client trends/behaviors with the rest of the Key Account Management (KAM) team and client portfolio to ensure knowledge dissemination and position Convera as a trusted partner.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the client sector or vertical, and participate in networking and industry events to enhance expertise in the specified business or industry.
• Collaborate with client management to develop targeted plans that encourage the adoption of foreign exchange risk solutions.
• Proven track record in an Account Management role, ideally within the financial services or fintech sectors, and experience with regulated financial institutions.
• Familiarity with the foreign exchange industry is preferred.
• Experience in managing relationships and generating revenue from existing client accounts.
• Strong understanding of consultative sales principles and proficiency in executive-level negotiations, along with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Financially savvy with insights into business needs and concerns, as well as the commercial implications of global news and events.
• Extensive business-to-business and solution sales experience, coupled with exceptional communication and presentation skills across various media, and proficiency in technology tools (e.g., MS Office, web conferencing, search engines, reporting tools, and sales automation platforms like Salesforce).
• Demonstrated experience working within and selling to multinational global organizations.
