This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and nurture senior-level relationships with designated water treatment distributor and service provider accounts.
• Formulate and implement account strategies and collaborative business plans aimed at enhancing growth in chemical programs, equipment, consumables, and services.
• Spearhead negotiations concerning pricing frameworks, rebate initiatives, service contracts, and agreements.
• Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, application engineers, and regional Channel Sales Managers to ensure efficient execution at the field level.
• Act as an internal champion for distributor partners by facilitating support from supply chain, operations, technical resources, and marketing teams.
• Foster alignment between distributor leadership and service teams to enhance specification, system performance, water safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, margin, program adoption, retention, and service quality.
• Identify prospects for expansion into new water treatment applications, markets, and technologies.
• Offer market insights related to regulatory trends (e.g., wastewater, potable water, industrial discharge), competitive dynamics, and customer requirements.
• Address elevated commercial and service challenges involving pricing, contracts, supply continuity, or technical performance.
• Represent the organization at water industry trade exhibitions, distributor gatherings, and customer forums.
• Maintain account plans, forecasts, and activity reports utilizing CRM tools.
• Over 5 years of B2B sales or account management experience in the water treatment, chemical, or environmental services sector.
• Proven experience in managing distributor or service-provider-centric go-to-market strategies.
• Preferred understanding of water treatment chemistry, systems, and service delivery.
• Demonstrated capability to negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, including technical, operations, and supply chain departments.
• Exceptional communication and executive-level relationship abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 40–50% of the time.
