This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.
• Drive and enhance EDCO’s retail operations across Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Albania.
• Establish and uphold a robust network within the retail sector (both food and non-food) throughout the Balkan area.
• Allocate 40% of efforts to relationship management, reinforcing partnerships with current clients.
• Dedicate 60% to new business development, securing new retail clients and broadening market reach.
• Initiate and oversee customer-specific promotional activities and commercial proposals.
• Engage in project-based sales of displays, planograms, and private label solutions.
• Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on quotes in close collaboration with internal teams.
• Analyze past sales data to optimize and tailor product assortments for clients.
• Work closely with marketing, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
• Represent EDCO at international trade exhibitions and during tender processes.
• Around 5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience, ideally in retail or wholesale.
• Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and a well-established network within the retail landscape.
• Experience in dealing with international clients and navigating complex sales processes.
• A strong commercial acumen paired with analytical capabilities.
• An effective relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written (knowledge of local languages is advantageous).
• Willingness to travel across the Balkan region and to the Netherlands.
