This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• This role reports directly to the Global Sales Manager at ITW Medical and is tasked with overseeing and expanding business operations across various medical device market segments, in addition to cultivating new business opportunities related to these product lines.
• The focus of the position is to gain a comprehensive understanding of assigned markets while enhancing overall market share.
• The candidate will play a crucial role in formulating profitable new programs with OEM customers and will drive segment strategies within the accounts.
• The successful candidate will engage with customers to assess and analyze their requirements, identify pain points, promote the development of unique solutions, and collaborate with a team to effectively finalize sales.
• Achieving success also involves establishing trust with both current and prospective customers regarding engineering, quality, and production capabilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience is necessary, preferably within the Medical Device Industry focusing on sales.
• Strong analytical skills in business are essential, and experience in product or market management is advantageous; a demonstrated understanding of financials, including budgeting, sales, and capital funding for growth, is required.
• Proven ability to conduct research, identify strategic opportunities, and formulate effective business strategies to capitalize on these opportunities is needed.
• Experience in long-term planning, along with a creative and visionary mindset, is beneficial.
• Capability to work directly, as well as collaboratively with teammates, to implement key strategies is crucial.
• It is essential to embody, communicate, and promote the values of ITW; acting with integrity and trust, operating with simplicity, treating everyone with respect, and sharing risks.
• Must be adaptable and thrive in the dynamic environment and circumstances of a new and expanding business.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) is required.
• The candidate must be a team player with outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential, with experience in collaborating and communicating with a remote team.
• Proven skills in time management, prioritization, and strong project management are necessary.
• Must possess the decision-making skills required to excel in an ambiguous environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% is required.
• Initiative is key; the ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions is essential.
• Demonstrated thought leadership capabilities, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to drive change are highly valued.
• Vacation - up to 120 hours within the first year.
• Sick leave - up to 40 hours within the first year.

• Holiday - 10 paid holidays per year, with the holidays selected by the Division.
