📋 Description

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and prominent centers within the pulmonary hypertension (PH) community.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain professional connections with national and regional PH Centers and KOLs.

• Generate business insights and seek engagement opportunities for Liquidia, including advisory boards, speaker’s bureau, congress and regional symposiums, and sales training.

• Identify and develop KOLs for both regional and national engagement efforts.

• Collaborate ethically and compliantly with Medical Affairs on complementary strategic initiatives involving shared KOLs.

• Spearhead regional direct marketing strategies and tactics targeting specific accounts and KOLs.

• Collect and share insights from KOL interactions regarding current treatment management patterns and future therapies that influence the development of commercial and marketing strategies, initiatives, and resources.

• Collaborate with the commercial sales team to pinpoint key accounts, thought leaders, issues, and trends within geographical areas.

• Serve as a liaison between KOLs and Liquidia, facilitating connections with cross-functional partners and other healthcare professionals.

• Create and implement strategies for KOL participation in congresses and support their development.

• Lead the development and execution of regional speaker programs, which includes training speakers, creating content, and attending events.

• Compliantly assist in planning Liquidia marketing advisory boards by identifying advisors and meeting objectives.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to provide access and reimbursement support and education at regional accounts.

• Build and maintain regional relationships between SP field team members in conjunction with the market access team.

• Comprehend the payer reimbursement landscape and assist in communicating the market access value positioning of the brand.

• Identify and resolve specific brand access issues while leveraging resources toward effective solutions.

• Operate at the highest standards in alignment with Liquidia’s code of ethics and compliance standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring that all interactions with KOLs adhere to commercial, regulatory, and legal guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) or pulmonary hypertension interstitial lung disease (PHILD) along with existing KOL connections.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the PH therapeutic area.

• At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following roles: marketing, clinical liaison, thought leader management, key account management, market access, or clinical sales.

• Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding expectations in assigned duties.

• Ability to establish credibility and trust with KOLs.

• Strategic mindset capable of anticipating and interpreting KOL beliefs to identify opportunities that support commercial and marketing strategies, messaging, and resources.

• Collaborative approach, fostering trusted relationships with cross-functional partners.

• In-depth knowledge of academic medical centers, including referral patterns and networks.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to various audience sizes.

• Strong knowledge of the product and understanding of the PH disease state.

• Strategic, passionate, self-motivated individual who demonstrates initiative and the capacity to lead through change, ambiguity, and complexity.

• Comprehensive understanding of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the pharmaceutical industry, with a history of ethical and compliant behavior.

• Outstanding organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel 60%-80% of the time.
