This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee a team of 10 to 15 Onsite Service Representatives/Specialists spread across a vast and remote area, responsible for managing inventory at customer locations.
• Control the profitability channel, monitor the expense/sales ratio, and uphold KPI’s along with quality management of customer programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Distribution Centers, Branches, and transportation networks to enhance profitability, growth, and meet operational objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Execute the Leader Plan, which encompasses evaluating and prioritizing tasks, coaching, training, and recruiting top talent.
• Foster strong engagement among team members and contribute to their professional development.
• Engage in development and continuous improvement initiatives, projects, and training to facilitate the growth of the channel, partnerships in the Center of Excellence, and the organization.
• Oversee the optimization and operation of customer programs for efficiency and profitability within the assigned regional territory.
• Manage resources necessary for timely and budget-compliant new customer installations.
• Comprehend market dynamics and trends along with customer needs to provide suitable direction and guidance to the wider organization.
• Ensure that appropriate solutions and resources are offered and implemented for customers.
• Achieve optimal customer survey satisfaction ratings.
• Collaborate with internal Grainger teams to offer KeepStock expertise in developing a customized strategy that addresses our customers’ business challenges and objectives.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in retail, manufacturing, or industrial businesses.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising and managing personnel in a KPI-driven setting with a focus on training and development.
• Significant travel is necessary, with over 50% travel to various customer locations within the territory.
• Background in financial accountability.
• Experience leading in a matrixed environment.
• Proven ability to build and collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
• Strong skills in process improvement, ownership, control, and project management.
• Experience leading and working towards objectives with a remote team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required based on company and customer site requirements for equipment operation.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in the province of residence.
• May need to use a personal vehicle for transportation, which must have valid insurance meeting Grainger’s standards.
