This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee a robust pipeline within K12 school districts, prioritizing funnel health, stage advancement, and conversion effectiveness.
• Foster ongoing pipeline generation through disciplined outbound prospecting, which includes targeted outreach, participation in conferences, and ecosystem cultivation within designated territories.
• Take full ownership of deal execution from start to finish, focusing on progressing opportunities through each phase of the funnel, from initial contact to procurement and closure.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of the K12 purchasing cycle, proactively managing lengthy, multi-stakeholder sales processes that involve board approvals, budget alignment, and procurement requirements.
• Collaborate and align with various district stakeholders (including Superintendents, Cabinet leaders, Finance, Student Services, and Counseling teams) to ensure momentum and agreement at every step of the deal.
• Uphold stringent pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy by utilizing data to prioritize opportunities, identify risks, and achieve consistent quota success.
• Skillfully navigate and manage decision-making processes within districts, including funding sources (grants, Title, state/local budgets) and timing challenges, to expedite deal closure.
• Regularly meet or surpass new business objectives through disciplined funnel management, strong closing skills, and adept navigation of complex public sector sales environments.
• Collaborate closely with BDRs and the wider GTM team to build pipeline, while actively providing feedback on market insights, messaging gaps, and buyer signals to continually refine go-to-market strategies and execution.
• Execute additional tasks and projects as required to support the evolving needs of team objectives and company aims.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience selling to the K12 market.
• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• Proven success in closing K12 net new logo sales - you excel at penetrating districts and securing wins.
• Intellectually curious about the translation of state-level priorities, policies, and funding decisions into district-level actions; you invest time in understanding the landscape and leverage those insights for more effective territory strategies and deal execution.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the K12 purchasing process, including the decision-making dynamics, key players, and budget cycle navigation.
• A genuine hunter mentality; you are proactive in creating your own pipeline, adept at opening doors with senior district leaders, and do not wait for leads.
• Proficient in funding discussions - you can link solutions to grants, Title funding, and district budgets in a manner that drives action.
• Comfortable starting from scratch; you excel in uncharted territory and bring structure, enthusiasm, and accountability to new markets.
• Strong executive presence - you can engage Superintendents, Cabinet leaders, and Boards with confidence, guiding them towards decision-making.
