Junior/Mid Backend Engineer, AI Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• You will be engaged in the development of AI-driven systems that address genuine business challenges, merging code, APIs, and AI tools to deliver dependable and scalable solutions.

• Create and implement AI-enhanced workflows and backend systems.

• Design solutions that integrate APIs, scripts, and AI agents.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify issues and convert them into technical solutions.

• Rapidly prototype solutions while also enhancing and solidifying systems over time.

• Optimize solutions (e.g., minimize token usage, enhance performance).

• Troubleshoot and modify systems when they do not perform as anticipated.

• Document your work meticulously and communicate your thought process clearly.

• Strong programming foundation (Python is preferred).

• Comfortable with APIs and adept at creating integrations.

• Capable of developing solutions independently without solely depending on AI tools.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities — skilled at deconstructing and analyzing issues.

• Clear communication skills — able to articulate what you have created and the rationale behind it.

• Inquisitiveness and accountability — you enjoy discovering solutions rather than merely following directives.

• Experience in developing backend systems, scripts, or APIs.

• Involvement in projects that merge coding with AI (beyond just using prompt-based tools).

• A solid understanding of how systems operate behind the scenes (not just their usage).
