Junior Workflow Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business processes to discover automation possibilities under guidance.

• Aid in the design and implementation of workflow architectures with the oversight of senior developers.

• Convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Create custom applications and modules within Zoho Creator while receiving mentorship.

• Develop multi-step workflows utilizing Zoho Flow and N8N.

• Integrate third-party APIs and webhooks to facilitate data exchange between systems.

• Write Deluge scripts to manipulate data and apply business logic.

• Produce clean, well-documented code for both front-end and back-end using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.

• Utilize JavaScript and JSON for API interactions, data parsing, and custom code tasks.

• Create Python scripts for data processing and other automation activities.

• Monitor and troubleshoot automated workflows.

• Ensure data consistency and security across integrated systems.

• Identify and resolve integration challenges.

• Generate technical documentation and process flowcharts.

• Contribute to the development of training materials and user guides.

• Seek feedback and strive for continuous improvement in technical skills.

• Collaborate with team members to understand best practices and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience in software development, automation, or related technical fields (or a recent graduate with a strong portfolio).

• Proficient in building applications and writing Deluge scripts in Zoho Creator.

• Familiar with designing and implementing basic to intermediate workflows in Zoho Flow.

• Knowledge of the QuickBooks Online API.

• Understanding of N8N functionality with the ability to create multi-step workflows.

• Basic experience in connecting applications and creating automations using Zapier or similar tools.

• Proficient in JavaScript and HTML/CSS for front-end development.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Node.js or Python for back-end scripting.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and how to interact with APIs.

• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.

• Ability to produce clean, readable code with great attention to detail.

• Experience working with APIs and webhooks.

• Familiarity with JSON and JavaScript for data manipulation tasks.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of Deluge scripting.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a technical role.

• Capability to work collaboratively with both team members and non-technical stakeholders.
