Junior Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Deliver features from start to finish: design, develop, and test small, well-defined enhancements to our products.

• Ensure reliability and speed: resolve bugs, implement tests, and add instrumentation to assess performance and stability.

• Address real customer needs: work alongside Product, Design, and Delivery teams to develop straightforward, practical solutions that benefit our clients.

• Enhance developer experience: assist in creating examples, documentation, and tools that facilitate smooth integration with our SDKs.

• Approach problems with foundational thinking: deconstruct issues, evaluate trade-offs, and select the simplest effective solutions.

• Embrace learning openly: engage in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback), collaborate with team members, and share your insights.

• Take ownership of your tasks: organize your workload, communicate your progress, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Influence our development practices: aid in refining our CI, testing frameworks, and local development scripts as we expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Some familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.

• Experience with React, basic APIs/HTTP, or simple databases (SQL/NoSQL) is also beneficial.

• A true enthusiasm for AI and AI-assisted coding — this is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills: you can dissect a task, think from fundamental principles, and communicate trade-offs clearly.

• Dependability and commitment: you adhere to agreed timelines and proactively communicate if challenges arise.

• Willingness to accept feedback: you are inquisitive and adapt based on your learnings.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can effectively collaborate in a remote environment.
