Junior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the development team by automating repetitive internal tasks.

• Create automation for internal processes within engineering as well as across other departments.

• Manage and resolve the bug backlog, including issues found in AI-generated code.

• Oversee and respond to internal security alerts and error notifications.

• Address backlog tasks and ensure compliance with internal requirements.

• Develop internal dashboards and reporting tools for the engineering team.

• Write scripts and prompts; manage context and choose the appropriate model for each task.

• Verify the reliability of both agent-generated and model-generated code prior to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong foundation in JavaScript and Node.js.

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Experience in building and utilizing APIs (REST, GraphQL) and webhooks.

• Knowledge of MCP (Must have).

• Proficiency in version control (Git) and standard development tools.

• Experience with serverless architecture or Terraform is a plus.

• Genuine fluency in AI-assisted development, such as coding agents like Cursor or Claude.

• A tendency to leverage AI to accelerate learning and address knowledge gaps.

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Above-average proficiency in written and spoken English.
