This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual, exploratory, and regression testing for new features and product improvements.

• Create, write, maintain, and execute automated test cases utilizing our automation framework.

• Investigate, replicate, and document software defects with clear and actionable bug reports.

• Validate builds and releases through both manual and automated testing approaches.

• Work closely with Software Developers and QA Engineers throughout the feature development and release processes.

• Assist in maintaining and enhancing our automated test suites to boost test coverage and reliability.

• Acquire and implement testing best practices across UI, API, and integration testing.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Contribute to test documentation, test plans, and knowledge sharing within the Engineering team.

• Develop proficiency with our engineering tools, including Git, Azure DevOps, Playwright, and related development and testing tools.

• Continuously enhance your understanding of our product, testing processes, and quality engineering practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Strong grasp of software development fundamentals and software quality assurance principles.

• Experience coding in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python.

• Familiarity with automated testing concepts and a desire to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle.

• Exposure to automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar through coursework, personal projects, internships, or prior work experience.

• Knowledge of source control systems like Git.

• Understanding of Agile software development practices is considered a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

• Comfort with learning new tools, technologies, and engineering processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A collaborative team member who appreciates feedback, values continuous learning, and contributes to building quality software.
