Junior Reinsurance Accountant – Mid Shift

📋 Description

• Management of the Operations inbox

• Follow-up on QS bordereaux accounts

• Pursuit of accounts receivable

• Distribution of cash receipts

• Coordination with brokers regarding missing cash details

• Collaboration with brokers and underwriters concerning inquiries, outstanding receivables, and premium adjustments

• Additional projects and/or duties as necessary, including assisting with workflow implementation

⛳️ Requirements

• A recognized professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACA) is essential, with preference given

• Excellent organizational, documentation, and office skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office applications

• Strong work ethic

• Innate ability to take initiative and work independently

• Problem-solving skills

• Efficient time management abilities

• Capacity to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work under tight deadlines during busy periods

• Strong academic background, which may or may not include a University degree

• Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively with others

• Strong communication skills, both efficient and effective at all levels

• Proficient in English
