This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assists in recruitment activities, including setting up job postings, maintaining requisitions, conducting audits of the recruiting system, and validating information, along with creating documents and resources.
• Aids in administrative tasks related to candidates to help build robust talent pipelines.
• Routes incoming applications to the designated Recruiter to facilitate the Candidate Process.
• May directly contact candidates (via email and phone) to verify their interest, availability, basic qualifications, and outline the next steps.
• Aids in coordinating and scheduling phone screenings, interviews, and related logistics (such as calendar invites, candidate instructions, and interview confirmations).
• Prepares and keeps requisition documentation and recruiting trackers updated; monitors the status of aging requisitions and provides status updates to recruiters and hiring managers.
• Supports the administration of pre-employment screening processes (such as background checks, reference checks, drug screenings, and education verification) in line with established procedures and compliance standards.
• Reviews candidate files and onboarding documentation to ensure completeness and appropriate storage before the start date.
• Maintains and checks data integrity within the ATS, including job postings, candidate status/disposition, contact notes, interview results, and offer documentation, as instructed.
• Contributes to recruitment initiatives and special projects.
• Keeps abreast of recruiting best practices, candidate experience standards, and relevant employment guidelines related to assigned duties.
• Performs additional job-related tasks as assigned.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative assistant, recruiting, or a similar support role is required.
• An associate degree is preferred.
• Secret Security Clearance is preferred, or the ability to obtain one.
• Preference for candidates who can support an East Coast time zone schedule.
• Capability to work in a fully remote setting and manage projects digitally.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills are essential.
• Proficient in computer use, common office equipment, and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Must satisfy pre-employment qualification criteria set by Cherokee Federal.
