Junior Quantitative Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Perform quantitative analysis on cryptocurrency markets and assess the effectiveness of trading strategies.

• Examine extensive datasets and latency logs to pinpoint inefficiencies and enhance trade execution.

• Develop and iteratively improve mathematical models; convert algorithms into production-ready Python/Pandas code.

• Conduct back-testing and deploy trading signals in a live environment, while tracking real-time outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with traders, engineers, and data teams to incorporate insights and strengthen strategy reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in computer science, machine learning, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Extensive expertise in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.

• Solid grounding in statistics and mathematics (e.g., probability, time-series analysis, hypothesis testing).

• Previous experience in data-driven research or development of machine learning models.

• A STEM background (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering) is preferred.

• Familiarity with finance or digital asset markets is valued but not mandatory.

• Experience with unconventional data sources, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks.
