This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Serve as the comprehensive Product Owner, accountable for the game, its players, and the performance metrics, while guiding the team towards success.
• Contribute to or directly hold the Product vision and strategy, effectively translating them into actionable requests and requirements, including measurable objectives as needed.
• Enhance efficiency by formulating your vision and strategy based on cost-effective opportunities that yield significant impact.
• Spearhead cross-functional communications (engineers, designers, marketers, etc.) to bring game updates or team initiatives to fruition, while acting as a facilitator.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the factors that drive growth for your Product, validating insights with data and user feedback.
• Oversee the daily operations of the game, creating engaging in-game experiences, events, and promotions grounded in a solid understanding of game metrics.
• Focus on improving Retention, Conversion, and Monetization by hypothesizing, testing, and refining strategies implemented in day-to-day operations.
• Lead and manage team members responsible for the game's daily operations.
• Collaborate closely with other Product Managers and Leadership on cross-product initiatives, knowledge sharing, reporting, and forecasting.
• A strong passion for gaming, Free-to-Play models, and Games-as-a-Service.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in the gaming sector.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation and requests for a diverse range of colleagues.
• A proactive, results-driven, problem-solving mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, remote, global, and ever-evolving environment.
• A collaborative team player who excels in a highly cooperative, agile atmosphere with a focus on continuous discovery and delivery.
• Proficiency in balancing quantitative (data-driven) and qualitative (community-sourced) feedback.
• Familiarity with KPIs and a general understanding of data analytics.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a significant advantage.
• A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Data, or a related field, along with relevant work experience.
• Candidates with a Data background (e.g., Data Analyst) in gaming will be considered, regardless of their experience level.
• Previous experience in mentoring and training other team members.
• Experience working with (or within) Game Development teams.
• Familiarity with Live-Ops and fast-paced team environments.
• Experience collaborating with international teams.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of international professionals bringing extensive experience from the gaming and tech industries.
