Junior Product Illustrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop new artwork and complete sets in the established style of Hadley Designs across all product lines.

• Illustrate original elements such as characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes that align with our charming, kid-friendly aesthetic.

• Translate the Chief Creative Officer's concepts and creative vision into polished, production-ready product designs.

• Oversee a design from the initial handoff to the final build-out without reverting work back up the chain.

• Manage the execution of variations, design expansions across a complete set, and file preparation to alleviate the CCO's workload.

• Create print and production files according to specifications, and develop mockups and product previews for listings.

• Ensure every piece remains on-style and consistent with the brand across the entire product line.

• Maintain the living style reference to ensure visual consistency as the catalog expands.

• A portfolio showcasing original illustration work that reflects a cute, playful, kid-friendly aesthetic or product design sensibility.

• Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for native illustration (beyond just file handling or layout).

• Capability to match and extend an existing art style, ensuring new pieces integrate seamlessly with original works.

• Strong ability to interpret written and verbal creative direction and translate it into completed work.

• Dependability in meeting deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
