This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Strategically plan, design, and create original animated graphics, illustrations, visual effects, and multimedia assets for educational videos and digital communications.
• Formulate visual concepts that effectively convey intricate behavioral health and clinical information in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.
• Generate animations that accurately depict evidence-based information concerning trauma, PTSD, effective treatments, recovery, and co-occurring conditions.
• Craft characters, environments, icons, infographics, motion graphics, and other visual components that enhance educational storytelling while ensuring visual consistency across projects.
• Produce images, animations, and visual effects for deployment across various digital platforms, including websites, social media, presentations, and educational materials.
• Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), scriptwriters, project managers, and Government stakeholders to guarantee visual content accurately reflects scientific evidence and approved clinical protocols.
• Interpret storyboards, scripts, and creative direction to construct compelling visual narratives that foster treatment engagement and enhance public understanding.
• Modify artwork and animations based on Government review, stakeholder feedback, and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure all visual products adhere to established branding, accessibility, and Section 508 requirements, as applicable.
• Implement visual design principles that are inclusive, culturally aware, and suitable for audiences with varied backgrounds and traumatic experiences.
• Maintain organized project files, graphic assets, templates, and documentation to facilitate efficient production and future updates.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure graphic elements are seamlessly integrated into final animated video products.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Animation, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in producing animated graphics, visual design, or multimedia products relevant to the requirements of this task order.
