This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee daily payroll operations to ensure the timely processing of payroll and the completion of monthly and quarterly reports.
• Manage data entry for EMEA payroll systems for Payroll Providers.
• Handle full payroll processing from data collection with HR to preparing journal entries for the GL team for month-end closure.
• Support audit inquiries as needed.
• Engage in various ad hoc projects.
• Investigate payroll tax matters and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Conduct reconciliation and coordinate with HR/Benefits regarding pension and other benefit control accounts.
• Document payroll workflows and procedures thoroughly.
• Serve as a liaison among payroll services, internal departments, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
• Play a crucial role in the commission and bonus distribution process to ensure accurate data reporting and prompt payments.
• Assist with the integration of ADP GL with Workday.
• Guarantee the timely preparation, reporting, and payment of all statutory obligations to various government agencies across EMEA.
• Ensure precise and timely accruals for vacation, sick leave, and maternity leave.
• Aid in conducting quarterly process audits between Payroll and Workday.
• Proven experience collaborating with local payroll service providers in the EMEA region.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in Excel.
• Familiarity with ADP (iHCM & Streamline) and Workday is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups from various cultural backgrounds.
• Basic understanding of the German language would be beneficial.
• At least 2 years of experience in EMEA Payroll is preferred.
