Junior Oracle Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Participate in comprehensive training programs focused on PeopleSoft and Oracle database administration.

• Assist with the administration and maintenance of PeopleSoft environments.

• Support Oracle database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and performance tuning under supervision.

• Engage in test automation initiatives utilizing the PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).

• Learn and contribute to performance testing and monitoring of PeopleSoft applications.

• Collaborate with senior team members on various IT projects and daily operational tasks.

• Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps as part of your learning journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).

• A strong interest in enterprise applications, database management, and automation testing.

• A basic understanding of databases, scripting, or software development is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a desire to learn about new technologies.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in pursuing knowledge and improvement.

• Willingness to participate in formal and on-the-job training in PeopleSoft Environment Administration, Oracle Database Administration, PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) for test automation, and application performance testing and monitoring.
