Junior Mortgage Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Monitor and track Lead Notes received from the Loan Officer (LO).

• Oversee incoming “App Submitted” emails and configure Encompass files to correspond with LO Lead Notes.

• Conduct a “File Set-up” review upon receiving the application and documents from the client, which includes ordering credit, organizing documents in Encompass, and rectifying any obvious errors on the client application.

• Forward files to the Pre-Approval team once sufficient documentation has been gathered for their review.

• Perform DU/LP and request appraisals as necessary, particularly when there is no PIW/ACE.

• Provide a client needs list following the initial file review.

• Issue a client needs list after the Preapproval team has completed their assessment.

• Gather the correct Evidence of Insurability (EOI), Verification of Employment (VOE), and Homeowners Association (HOA) documents when requested by the Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) or Processor.

• Ensure that EOI and other relevant documents are accurate at the time of funding to prevent any delays.

• Maintain a tracker for all files on their desk, detailing outstanding items for each file to guarantee that no files are overlooked.

• Experience in the mortgage industry is essential.

• Familiarity with Encompass is advantageous.

• Must have experience with ordering outs and communicating with third parties.

• Comfortable utilizing office applications.

• Strong communication skills are required.

• A friendly and engaging personality is a must.

• Background in finance and accounting is a plus.
