Junior Modeling Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation, validation, and oversight of predictive models focused on credit and risk assessment.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and areas for enhancement.

• Develop queries and manage databases to extract insights and critical metrics.

• Aid in the documentation and governance processes pertaining to models.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bolster analytical and business initiatives.

• Keep abreast of the latest methodologies and tools in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed or nearing completion in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or related disciplines.

• Proficient in data analysis and applied statistics.

• Familiarity with SQL and/or Python for data manipulation and analysis.

• Strong analytical abilities with a passion for addressing business challenges through data.

• Intermediate proficiency in English for comprehending technical documentation and engaging in professional development.

• Preferred: academic experience, internships, or projects related to modeling, data analysis, or financial markets.

• Basic understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts.

• Experience or keen interest in subjects related to credit, risk, or financial services.

• Involvement in research projects, data competitions, or analytics initiatives.
