This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more states.
• Assist in the design, development, deployment, and implementation of both internal and client-facing legal technology solutions, with a focus on AI-driven tools, workflow automation, matter management systems, and document automation.
• Help configure, test, enhance, and operate legal workflows, AI-powered solutions, online questionnaires, automated templates, and data extraction methods.
• Oversee tool instances, managing user access, permissions, operational coordination, and communication with technology providers.
• Facilitate the adoption of technology and AI solutions by legal teams in a practical, responsible, and user-friendly manner.
• Assist with eDiscovery, litigation support, and technology-assisted review initiatives, including setup, coordination, tracking, and operational delivery.
• Support legal engineering projects throughout Europe that involve AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation, transaction management, litigation case management, compliance issues, and document automation.
• Aid in requirements gathering, process mapping, and the documentation of legal workflows.
• Develop and maintain automated templates, online questionnaires, simple workflow configurations, and AI-supported use cases.
• Conduct testing of automated documents, workflows, AI-enabled tools, and technology-driven processes; document issues and assist with troubleshooting and resolutions.
• Support eDiscovery projects through matter intake, scoping, planning, tracking, status reporting, and coordination with legal teams, clients, vendors, and internal technology teams.
• Coordinate eDiscovery activities, monitor deadlines, track review progress, escalate risks, and maintain project documentation.
• Provide operational assistance for technology-assisted review, AI-supported data extraction, litigation support, and efficiency projects.
• Prepare user guides, training materials, project notes, and other necessary documentation.
• Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and support ongoing improvements.
• Ideal for a junior lawyer, paralegal, legal operations specialist, legal technologist, litigation support analyst, or recent graduate.
• A degree or qualification in law, technology, engineering, information management, legal operations, or a related field would be advantageous.
• Some experience within a law firm, legal department, professional services, litigation support, eDiscovery, or legal operations would be beneficial.
• A keen interest in legal AI, document automation, workflow automation, eDiscovery platforms, technology-assisted review, data extraction, or matter management solutions.
• Capable of understanding legal processes, adhering to structured workflows, and translating user needs into clear requirements or project tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Strong communication abilities, including clearly explaining issues, asking insightful questions, and keeping stakeholders updated.
• Proactive, collaborative, and open to learning new tools, working with data, and supporting responsible technology-enabled solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with supervision, while effectively prioritizing tasks under pressure.
