Junior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot

• Contribute to the rollout of new features and enhancements to the system

• Engage in the investigation and resolution of bugs and incidents

• Implement programming best practices, development patterns, and uphold code quality standards

• Utilize version control tools (Git/GitHub)

• Facilitate code review processes and support the technical advancement of solutions

• Collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, and other team members

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot

⛳️ Requirements

• Entry-level experience in Java development

• Familiarity with Spring Boot

• Understanding of API development and enterprise applications

• Proficiency in version control with Git/GitHub

• Knowledge of software development best practices

• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to new technologies

• Plus: understanding of Angular

• Plus: experience with JavaServer Faces (JSF)

• Plus: background in the financial and/or insurance sectors

• Plus: familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

• Plus: experience with AI-driven productivity tools, such as GitHub Copilot
