Junior IT Specialist

📋 Description

• Provide support and administration for macOS, Linux (Ubuntu), and Windows systems

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, system, and software problems

• Set up laptops, reinstall operating systems, and install necessary software

• Manage user accounts and permissions within Google Workspace, Atlassian, and other platforms

• Develop and maintain well-organized technical documentation

• Oversee IT equipment logistics, including sourcing, inventory control, and coordinating deliveries for contractors

• Support and maintain internal laboratory environments and networks

• Assist with fundamental scripting tasks and automation projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in troubleshooting hardware, systems, and applications

• Familiarity with macOS, Linux (Ubuntu), or Windows environments

• Experience in configuring laptops, reinstalling operating systems, and setting up software

• Background in managing users and permissions in Google Workspace, Atlassian, or similar platforms

• Basic scripting knowledge or a strong interest in Bash, PowerShell, or Python

• Experience in sourcing and managing IT equipment

• Competence in creating and maintaining clear documentation

• Intermediate+ proficiency in English

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

• Proactive, responsible, and team-oriented attitude with a desire to learn

• Familiarity with SaaS systems and cloud services is a plus

• Prior experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles is desirable
