Head of Enterprise Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and spearhead the vision, principles, standards, and roadmaps for enterprise architecture that align with strategic priorities.

• Provide expert oversight and assurance for technology and transformation initiatives.

• Translate intricate business requirements into practical, forward-looking architectural designs.

• Establish and implement architecture governance and design authority processes.

• Lead and nurture a team of system owners and architects, fostering capability and driving ongoing improvement.

• Identify opportunities to enhance system integration and service resilience.

• Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and evaluate their business value.

• Influence senior stakeholders and assist in key investment decisions with clear insights and recommendations.

• Proven experience in shaping enterprise architecture strategy in complex environments.

• Strong knowledge of business, data, application, and technology architecture.

• Experience in delivering governance, assurance, and solution design oversight.

• A collaborative approach with the capability to influence at senior levels.

• Strong leadership skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

• Commercial awareness and robust analytical thinking to support investment decisions.

• Desirable: Experience in social housing or a regulated sector.

• Knowledge of TOGAF or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud, ERP/CRM platforms, and integration technologies.

• Experience in supporting major transformation programmes.
