This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Helpdesk Support: Proactively oversee the internal IT support Slack channel and the Jira Service Management queue to assess, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and access challenges.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage technical tasks related to the employee lifecycle, including the setup and removal of SaaS user accounts, workspace software, and endpoint hardware.
• Asset & Inventory Management: Perform regular audits of licensing, software access, and hardware inventory to ensure full compliance and accurate records.
• Hardware Lifecycle Logistics: Assist in corporate hardware refresh cycles by organizing remote device shipments, configurations, and system returns.
• Knowledge Base Documentation: Develop, update, and sustain detailed internal IT documentation to establish a highly scalable self-service knowledge base for employees.
• Strategic Project Support: Collaborate with the Senior IT Manager on infrastructure projects, including identity management automations, SSO expansion, acquisition consolidations, and SOC 2 compliance mapping.
• Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in IT helpdesk, system coordination, or desktop support, preferably in a remote or fast-paced SaaS corporate setting.
• OS Troubleshooting: Strong foundational skills in resolving end-user issues on both macOS and Windows platforms.
• SaaS Administration Comfort: High adaptability and eagerness to learn, configure, and manage modern web-based enterprise SaaS applications.
• Core Security Hygiene: Robust conceptual understanding of essential data security principles, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), the principle of least privilege, and secure asset offboarding.
• Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of Google Workspace (user/group administration) and fundamental concepts of single sign-on (SSO/SAML) identity providers.
• Practical experience utilizing Jira Service Management for queue triage and Slack for administering workspace communications.
• Exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for securing remote company laptops.
• Basic understanding of credential management systems and enterprise password management tools.
