Junior Financial Markets Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, create, and disseminate market-focused content in various written forms.

• Report on broker research, corporate announcements, economic events, and analyst perspectives in both in-depth (articles) and immediate (blogs and daily summaries) formats.

• Prepare and circulate newsletters, including the Weekend Edition and content for Apple News.

• Actively monitor markets to uncover timely stories, trends, and data-driven concepts.

• Review and edit submitted articles to ensure they adhere to editorial standards.

• Assist in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of internal systems—including broker recommendations, data ingestion, and result auditing.

• Offer editorial and content assistance, such as reviewing articles, creating electronic direct mail (EDMs), and processing broker research.

• Familiarity with financial markets gained through education, investing, or initial career experience.

• Proven experience in writing, editing, or publishing content (e.g., university publications, personal blogs, or internships).

• Demonstrated hands-on curiosity, illustrated by activities such as trading your own account, experimenting with AI, or developing side projects.
