This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Assist in audits and reviews of financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of accounting and tax documents.
• Review and validate tax withholding certificates and other supporting tax documents.
• Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or compliance issues and escalate findings as necessary.
• Prepare audit work papers, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized records and ensure proper retention of documents.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to gather required information.
• Contact company clients when necessary to request or validate documentation.
• Support internal control testing and compliance reviews.
• Follow established audit procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance audit efficiency.
• Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related field.
• Entry-level experience of 0 to 2 years.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Capability to work remotely and align with U.S. work and holiday schedules.
• Availability to participate in video interviews, which may be conducted in Spanish.
