Junior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Manage a comprehensive portfolio of clients from start to finish

• Develop, sustain, and modify three-statement financial models

• Analyze monthly financial data in comparison to actual performance

• Identify and communicate potential issues regarding margins and cash flow

• Address inquiries from clients and investors, integrating their requests into financial models

• Conduct market analysis to enhance the accuracy of forecasts

• Create various scenarios and routinely test underlying assumptions

• Prepare monthly reports and perform variance analysis

• Design and refresh KPI dashboards

• Manage and maintain three-statement financial projections

• Track and predict cash flow

• Execute cohort analysis

• Support Senior Financial Analysts and the CFO

• Collaborate directly with senior partners and the managing partner

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent graduates are welcome to apply

• 1–2 years of financial analysis experience is preferred but not essential

• Strong focus on detail and exceptional organizational abilities

• Proficient in data entry and basic accounting software

• Outstanding communication skills

• Advanced skills in MS Excel

• Experience in eCommerce, agency work, or FP&A is advantageous

• Practical experience with Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Glew.io, or Amazon Seller/Vendor is a plus

• Prior experience in client-facing or investor-facing roles is a benefit

• Willingness to work evening/overnight shifts in India, approximately from 6:30pm to 2:30am IST, on a long-term basis
