Junior Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist various ecommerce clients by providing financial reporting, modeling, and commercial analysis.

• Develop and sustain financial models, encompassing P&L, cash flow, and scenario analysis.

• Create monthly reporting packages and KPI dashboards.

• Reconcile financial information across Shopify, accounting systems, and other platforms.

• Aid in cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting.

• Analyze margins, pricing, fulfillment expenses, and supplier performance.

• Examine discrepancies against budgets and forecasts.

• Assist with fundraising initiatives and due diligence processes.

• Enhance reporting procedures through automation and AI integration.

• Contribute to the development of internal financial models, templates, and reporting tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.

• Up to one year of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or a related analytical position.

• Proficient in Excel.

• A keen interest in ecommerce and commercial finance.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience with Google Sheets, SQL, or Python is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Currently pursuing or intending to pursue ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications is preferred.
