This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +5 more states.
β’ Assist in emergency response initiatives and natural disaster management related to environmental and hazardous materials incidents.
β’ Remain readily available for emergency response and extended travel, which can last up to 30 days at a time.
β’ Effectively manage heavy workloads and multitask in a dynamic, time-sensitive setting.
β’ Work extended hours as needed, including overtime, weekends, night shifts, and occasionally 24-hour shifts.
β’ Operate monitoring instruments independently and record necessary measurements.
β’ Prepare documentation for the chain of custody for environmental samples.
β’ Drive non-commercial vehicles to and from various project locations.
β’ Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
β’ A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ Required proficiency in computer literacy within a Windows-based environment.
β’ Previous experience in any branch of the armed forces is preferred.
β’ Familiarity and/or proficiency with industrial hygiene equipment is desirable.
β’ Experience using air and environmental sampling tools is a plus.
β’ Relevant background in emergency response, environmental management, construction management, etc., is preferred.
β’ Capability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately.
β’ Flexible or remote working options.
β’ Opportunities for significant overtime with pay multipliers of 1.5 or higher.
