Junior Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in emergency response initiatives and natural disaster management related to environmental and hazardous materials incidents.

• Remain readily available for emergency response and extended travel, which can last up to 30 days at a time.

• Effectively manage heavy workloads and multitask in a dynamic, time-sensitive setting.

• Work extended hours as needed, including overtime, weekends, night shifts, and occasionally 24-hour shifts.

• Operate monitoring instruments independently and record necessary measurements.

• Prepare documentation for the chain of custody for environmental samples.

• Drive non-commercial vehicles to and from various project locations.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Required proficiency in computer literacy within a Windows-based environment.

• Previous experience in any branch of the armed forces is preferred.

• Familiarity and/or proficiency with industrial hygiene equipment is desirable.

• Experience using air and environmental sampling tools is a plus.

• Relevant background in emergency response, environmental management, construction management, etc., is preferred.

• Capability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately.
