Junior Field Safety Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Uphold a visible and approachable safety presence in the field, fostering trust among crews and supervisors.

• Perform regular inspections and observations to identify and report potential hazards.

• Maintain organized and consistent records using SiteDocs.

• Assist in incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.

• Engage in the creation of safe work procedures.

• Lead weekly safety meetings and the monthly Joint Health & Safety Committee.

• Acquire knowledge of Victor Energy's standards and client expectations, progressing towards independent work.

⛳️ Requirements

• NCSO or OHS certificate or safety diploma (either completed or currently in progress).

• Standard First Aid / CPR certification.

• A valid driver's license with a willingness to travel to project sites.

• Comfortable with extended field days in outdoor construction settings.

• Dependable, receptive to coaching, detail-oriented, and genuinely prioritizing safety.

• Experience in construction, utility, or high-voltage transmission environments.

• Familiarity with SiteDocs, BisTrainer, or contractor compliance platforms (ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks).

• Progress towards CRST or a similar certification.
