Junior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.

• Provide support for cloud infrastructure management on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).

• Aid in the deployment and management of applications utilizing Docker.

• Write fundamental scripts (Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks.

• Monitor system performance and assist in resolving issues.

• Help maintain logs, alerts, and dashboards using monitoring tools.

• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate releases and address bug fixes.

• Adhere to best practices that ensure system reliability, security, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or related fields (including internships).

• Fundamental understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.

• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

• Exposure to Docker or containerization concepts.

• Basic scripting capabilities (Bash, Python, or similar).

• Understanding of version control systems like Git.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration, knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch), basic understanding of networking and security concepts, and relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner).
