Junior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with business teams to grasp their requirements, challenges, and opportunities.

• Create technical documentation and assist in solution design.

• Collaborate with business teams to develop Data Science solutions that facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Design advanced analytics solutions, pinpointing opportunities and generating value for Bancorbrás’s operations.

• Perform analyses to uncover opportunities, trends, and potential challenges.

• Develop, automate, implement, and maintain Machine Learning models.

• Analyze data and derive insights using methodologies such as clustering and demand forecasting.

• Clearly communicate results and insights, aligning analyses with business needs and objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Understanding of descriptive statistics, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and applied statistics for Machine Learning.

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Expertise in Pandas, Scikit-Learn, StatsModels, and PySpark.

• Experience with databases, including data extraction, transformation, and manipulation through SQL.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

• Experience in Cloud Computing (AWS).

• Knowledge of model deployment processes.

• Understanding of Generative AI.

• Preferred: coursework or a postgraduate qualification in Data Science.

• Preferred: familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
